Hey does anybody here know if one can apply a color correction to a clip in the bin and have that correction flow downstream to all instances of the affected clip? I often do this by applying color and sound adjustments to clips in a multicam sequence using the angle editor, but in this case I have a production that mixes cameras, all long takes, all clips are used in the multicam, and several of those clips are also in the final project but not included in the multicam. Just wondering if anyone else already knows the answer - I'm about to figure it out, and I'll be sure to come back and share.

Yeahyouright Tom,

Looks like clips already on the timeline don't inherit changes to clips in the bin. Hey, that's not so bad - I applied my adjustments to the multicam clips in the angle viewer (changes which do cascade downstream) and the pasted attributes from the angle viewer clips over to the stragglers connected to the main timeline.

Thanks for checking in,

Eric D - CoralVision

(PS Now, have you heard of anything like the weird glitch i'm having where FCP is changing the sample rate of my audio to 6kHz on the timeline, forcing me to replace *every clip* with a fresh copy from the bin? It's on another thread...)
